4). Slip Screen and Early Fade
Slip screens and early fades are the last of the options that you have when deciding what to do with a pick and roll in NBA 2K21.
A slip screen is when the pick-setter doesn’t set a solid pick, but instead, rolls towards the basket earlier than expected. The same concept applies for an early fade, and they can both be used to trick defenders if used wisely.
To do this you will have to press the pick button, that is, L1 on PlayStation, LB on Xbox, or L on Switch again after having pressed it and also before setting the selection.
